What license do I need to drive a Velca?
Our Velca Tramontana and Velca Bora are approved as mopeds, so you can enjoy them with the AM licence or the A1, A2, A or B car licences.
Our Velca Calima is approved as a motorcycle, so you can enjoy it with the license A1, A2, A or B car with 3 years old.
How much autonomy does it have?
The Velca Tramontana up to 120 km with its two equipped batteries.
The Velca Bora up to 70 km, although it could be 140 km if you have an extra charged battery to exchange.
If you drive the Velca Calima you can enjoy it up to 70 km in a row
What’s the top speed?
You can reach 50km/h with the Tramontana and the Bora.
With the Velca Calima you can reach up to 80km/h.
Where and how can I recharge it?
You can recharge the removable batteries at any plug in your home or office. You can also do it directly from the bike itself.
How long do I need to recharge it?
From 0% to 100% charge, between 5 and 6 hours.
How much does a recharge cost?
Recharging each battery costs approximately 30 cents, although it depends on the rate you have contracted.
How can I buy it?
Directly online you can choose the Velca that best suits you here. We will contact you for delivery as soon as possible.

What guarantee do you have?
It has a 2-year warranty.
I just placed my order, what happens next?
After you have pre-ordered, you will receive a confirmation email. Subsequently, we will send you a first invoice to confirm the pre-order when you make the transfer.
We will collect the necessary data to carry out all the procedures and we will inform you of each step so that you have your Velca as soon as possible.
How will I receive my Velca?
You can receive it at home for FREE in the Community of Madrid, or for 150 euros for shipping costs within the Peninsula. If you prefer, you can also pick it up FREE in our space or in any of the weekly events we organize, where you can also meet us personally and take a gift with you.
Remember that we deliver your Velca already registered and with all the necessary papers so you can circulate from that moment.
How does it work if I want to receive it at home?
One of our specialists will deliver your new Velca. He will also answer any questions you may have and explain all the attached documentation.
What time can the delivery take place?
We are very flexible, we will contact you and schedule a delivery appointment, when it suits you best.
How is the day of delivery?
Surely a happy day and… with some surprise!
Be sure to inspect your Velca together with our specialist for transport damage and inform us immediately if you find anything wrong.
Make sure you also check all the documents we will give you.
Your Velca’s battery will always arrive with some charge so you can test it immediately.
What about returns?
If you wish to return your Velca you must contact our team as soon as possible to study the reason for the return but remember that if we have already started the registration process, your Velca cannot be refunded.
What is the maintenance cost?
Practically zero. No filters, valves, spark plugs, oil, belts, chains, brushed engine, etc.
A periodic review will cost about one hour of labor.
How long is the battery life expectancy?
Around 800 cycles. That is, with normal use, a durability of approximately 6 years.
If you need another battery you can get it from 290 ? + VAT.
What is the average consumption of your Velca?
Between 0.40 and 0.60 euros for every 100 km travelled; including light, maintenance and battery change.
Does my Velca need insurance?
Yes, and we also have an alliance with Mapfre to give you a 15% discount.
Do I have to pay road tax, ITV and register the bike?
You have to settle those taxes and payments like a normal motorbike and, if you prefer, we can take care of all these formalities.
On electric motorcycles the registration tax is exempt from the tax office. In addition, the road tax is subsidised.
The previous ITV, registration fee and the registration plate are expenses to be paid. If you want, the motorbike will arrive home registered and with the badge so you can access any part of your city.
How often do I have to go through MOT?
In the case of a moped, it must pass the ITV after 3 years from the first registration and every 2 years again. For a motorbike, the ITV must be run after the 4th year of the first registration and every 2 years.
If you have encountered a problem with your Velca and need any repairs or it is time for a periodic check-up, call or write to us and we will refer you to our nearest Velca Guardian.
The Guardian will be able to collect your Velca in the event of a breakdown if you do not have roadside assistance on your insurance. Don’t worry, if the warranty covers the problem, we eill let you know. If you have arrived at the established kms. where your Velca needs to be checked, we eill pick it up and return it to your door.
